On March 27, 2015, StarVista held the 23rd Annual Starting Line Breakfast. McDowall Cotter APC was honored to serve as a Helping Hands Sponsor at this signature fundraising event.
This years event rose to national status when retired U.S. Congresswoman Gabby Giffords and her husband, retired American astronaut, Mark Kelly commended StarVista’s Childhood and Adolescent Hotline & Prevention Program (CAHPP) for helping to prevent tragedies like Newtown from reoccurring. The keynote speaker, John Rudella, a former commander of the Navy SEALs, spoke about StarVista’s key core values of passion, partnership and innovation.
StarVista has served the San Mateo County for over 30 years, providing high impact services through counseling, training and crisis prevention. StarVista provides services for over 35,000 San Mateo County members annually.
McDowall Cotter APC is proud to work in partnership with StarVista to help them serve community members in need. David Rosenbaum serves a board member and is passionate about helping this valued community organisation continue to support people encountering difficulties.
