A member of the California State Bar, the San Mateo County Bar Association, a Diplomate of the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA), over 130 jury trials to conclusion representing plaintiffs and defendants in Sonoma, Marin, Alameda, San Francisco, San Mateo, Santa Clara, Santa Cruz, San Benito and Monterey Counties, countless court trials, appeals, administrative hearings, binding and non-binding arbitrations, uninsured/underinsured motorist controversies.

AV rated by Martindale-Hubbell since 1980; recipient of the Nagle award for service to the San Mateo County Bar Association in 2004; recipient of the Trial Lawyer of the Year award from the San Mateo County Trial Lawyers’ Association in 2007, accorded LEGEND status by ABOTA in 2016, recipient of Lifetime Achievement Award from the San Mateo County Bar Association in 2018.

Volunteer activities include service as Editor of The Docket, the magazine of the San Mateo County Bar Association, for the past 20 years, pro tem judge of the San Mateo Superior Court; membership on the finance committees of several charitable organizations.

Practice emphasis currently on arbitration, mediation and evaluation of lawsuits of all kinds.
