Sylvia manages McDowall Cotter's calendar, performs administrative duties, and assists Irene Dominguez with marketing presentations. She joined the firm in December of 2006 after providing administrative support to attorneys and paralegals in Intel's Corporate Affairs Group. Sylvia's previous positions range widely, from data processor to IT analyst.

Sylvia moved to California from Texas in 1987, with her husband of 32 years and their two children. Since then her family has grown to include a daughter-in-law and three grandchildren. Sylvia enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, and teaching her grandchildren to jump in mud puddles.
