David is a trial attorney, and provides defense litigation services to insurance companies, start-ups, publicly held corporations, individuals, state and local governments, and non-profits in a variety of civil disputes. He is also a consummate negotiator and mediator, and while almost 20 years as a litigator have taught him that trial by jury is at times a necessity, he prides himself on realizing his clients' goals in the most efficient and cost-effective ways possible.

David is a member of the Board of Directors for the Association of Defense Counsel, Northern California and Nevada, and he is active in local public service organizations, such as San Mateo County's Youth & Family Enrichment Services, from which he was the 2006 recipient of the Silver Barbell Award, “In recognition of the extraordinary contributions in helping to make a tangible difference to the thousands of low-income and at-risk you and families served in the San Mateo County area.”

David received his B.A. at the University of Oregon and his law degree at Santa Clara University School of Law. In addition to his native English, he speaks Italian, French and Greek.
