VLOG – Keeping Trustees Out of Lawsuits: A Mini-Series – McDowall Cotter 4/24/2020 12pm
April 24 @ 12:00 pm - 12:30 pm
On Friday, April 24th from 12:00 – 12:30pm, attorney David Rosenbaum will be hosting Episode 4 of the Keeping Trustees Out of Lawsuits Mini-Series. The new McDowall Cotter, APC five part mini-series details the real story, the trials and tribulations of trustees, from the eyes of the trial attorney starring Trusty Trustee and narrated by David Rosenbaum.
EP 4: No Good Deed Goes Unpunished – Trusty sees things occurring to a beneficiary that seem unjust or unfair and feels the need to help that person. Trusty is also closer to one beneficiary than another. When Trusty’s parents were alive, Trusty would hear them disapprove of someone’s lifestyle or conduct. Trusty is in a quandary about using the trust to help out or steer a beneficiary’s conduct. Yet, impartiality means no favoritism or personal disapproval. David guides Trusty along the path of acting impartially, even though Trusty’s heart is telling them to do something else.
